I think this may be the best 1/2 Hp Garbage Disposer. Most users are very pleased with it and even though it is not expensive, it is still a quality unit.

This model has a 2 year in-home warranty. So it will be fixed at home. I guess that means the manufacturers are convinced that they deliver a quality product. It has a grinding chamber and drain housing that will not rust. The motor is 1/3 horsepower and runs at 1900rpm.
